Two monitors via dock will not both work

Dual-monitor via a single dock often comes down to the right port, drivers, and display mode.

support/vpn-thuiswerken/dock-twee-monitoren-niet-detecteerbaarsteps: 5

Try this first

  1. Swap the two monitor cables on the dock. One port may work better than the other.
  2. Check that both monitors use HDMI or both DisplayPort; mixing often causes issues.
  3. In Windows: right-click desktop > display settings > "detect".
  4. Fully disconnect the dock (unplug USB-C), wait 10 seconds, reconnect.
  5. Update the dock driver via the manufacturer if one monitor stays black.
