Moving DNS to a new host, how do I migrate 80 records?
A zonefile export gives you the full zone in BIND format, importable at most DNS hosts.

Try this first
- Ask the old host for an export, often a 'zonefile export' button or API
- Cloudflare and Route53 both import BIND directly
- Verify per record type that everything moved
- Test on the new NS with dig before NS cutover
When to bring us in
No export button, ask support for the zonefile or dump records via dig AXFR.
