Outlook or mail client doesn't auto-find settings

Autodiscover lets clients discover server settings. M365 uses a CNAME, Google Workspace uses SRV.

Try this first

  1. M365: autodiscover.yourdomain.nl CNAME to autodiscover.outlook.com
  2. Google Workspace: SRV records for _autodiscover._tcp
  3. TTL 3600 is fine
  4. Test with Outlook 'autoconfig' or the mail client wizard

When to bring us in

For hybrid M365 + on-prem Exchange, autodiscover gets complex, ask M365 admin.
