Try this first
- Temporary spike (3-6 months): rent monthly from a rental provider or larger reseller. Expect 5-10% of purchase price per month.
- Structural growth (>6 months): buy or lease. Renting longer than that costs more than a year-4 replacement.
- Ask if the renter can pre-stage the laptop (Autopilot, antivirus). Saves 2 hours per machine.
- On return: wipe yourself or have the renter wipe with certificate. Never 'just give it back with data'.
