How do I know if our vendors are well-secured?

Vendor security questionnaire (basics) plus external rating platform (BitSight, SecurityScorecard) gives signal. Require ISO 27001 or SOC 2 for critical vendors.

  1. Inventory top-10 vendors by data access
  2. Send short questionnaire: certification, MFA, incident history
  3. Request external rating or subscribe
  4. Insufficient score = SLA change or replacement
