Copilot in Outlook does not respond on a shared mailbox

Copilot works on the user's own mailbox first. For a shared mailbox you need a separate licence or a different flow.

Try this first

  1. Confirm the user has Full Access on the shared mailbox
  2. Check whether your tenant enabled Copilot on shared mailboxes
  3. Test on another mailbox; broken or policy?
  4. Document which mailbox types Copilot does or does not handle
